Important Dates & Deadlines for Tuesday, January 7, 2025, Special Election
- Deadline to register or update your information – Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
- Voters may register after December 31, 2024, and vote a provisional ballot. For information about Same-Day Voter Registration, visit the Virginia Department of Elections website.
- Last day to request a ballot be mailed to you – Friday, December 27, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
- Last day to vote early in-person – Saturday, January 4, 2025.
Early Voting – Open Now in Leesburg
- Office of Elections in Leesburg- 750 Miller Drive, Suite 150, Leesburg, 20175
- Early voting starts – Wednesday, December 11, 2024
- Early voting hours – Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
- The Office of Elections will be closed Tuesday, December 24, 2024, Wednesday, December 25, 2024, Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
- Extended hours: Saturday- December 28, 2024 and January 4, 2025– office will be open from 9:00 a.m.– 5:00 pm.

Vote on Election Day, January 7th
On election days, polls in Loudoun County are open 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Voters must vote at their assigned precinct on election day. Detailed voter precinct information can be found here. Sample ballots will be available here.
