Important Dates & Deadlines for Tuesday, January 7, 2025, Special Election

  • Deadline to register or update your information – Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
  • Last day to request a ballot be mailed to you – Friday, December 27, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
  • Last day to vote early in-person – Saturday, January 4, 2025.

Early Voting – Open Now in Leesburg 

  • Office of Elections in Leesburg- 750 Miller Drive, Suite 150, Leesburg, 20175
    •    Early voting starts – Wednesday, December 11, 2024
    •    Early voting hours – Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. 
    •    The Office of Elections will be closed Tuesday, December 24, 2024, Wednesday, December 25, 2024, Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
    •    Extended hours: Saturday- December 28, 2024 and January 4, 2025  office will be open from 9:00 a.m. 5:00 pm.

Early Voting – In District – Dec. 28 & Jan. 4

All registered voters in Virginia are eligible to request, receive, mark and return their ballot all from the comfort of their own home. Not only is it easy, but it’s safe and secure too.

Vote on Election Day, January 7th

On election days, polls in Loudoun County are open 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Voters must vote at their assigned precinct on election day. Detailed voter precinct information can be found here. Sample ballots will be available here
